Dead person found in Lørenskog
The police have launched an investigation after a person was found dead in Lørenskog.
“The police have been working on the case throughout the day. Some investigative steps remain to be carried out. The suspicion of a criminal event has weakened,” the police tweeted shortly before 11 PM on Sunday.
The police confirmed the discovery of the dead person to the newspaper VG at 3:25 PM on Sunday.
“A dead person has been found. We will reveal much until we have notified the next of kin,” operations manager Svein Walle in the Eastern Police District told NTB at the time.
According to the newspaper Romerikes Blad, the person was found “at an address” on Sunday.
On Sunday afternoon, a police patrol was at the scene together with crime scene technicians.
