Death number six in Norway due to Covid-19

Another elderly person has died in Ringsaker in Bærum.

An elderly patient died of Covid-19 at an institution in Ringsaker municipality on Wednesday, reports Hamar Arbeiderblad. This is the country’s fifth Corona death.

Ringsaker municipality cannot provide further information about the deceased person for privacy reasons, the municipality writes in a press release, according to the newspaper.

In the message, Ringsaker Mayor Anita Ihle Steen (Ap) expresses her deepest condolences to the relatives.

– “My thoughts go to those who have lost one of their loved ones,” says the mayor.

The person who died as a result of coronavirus in Ringsaker is the fifth in Norway to have died from Covid-19.

Coronavirus death at Bærum hospital

An elderly patient with the coronavirus has died at Bærum hospital on Wednesday, Budstikka reports.

– “March 18, an elderly patient who tested positive for coronavirus had died at Bærum hospital. For privacy reasons, we cannot provide any further information about the patient. We would like to express our condolences to the relatives,“ says Ulrich Spreng, Director of the Department, in a press release from Vestre Viken Health Authority, according to the newspaper.

This death is the sixth coronavirus death in Norway.
