Hundreds of demonstrators gathered on Saturday outside the British prime minister’s office in Downing Street to protest against the bombing of Aleppo.

The protesters, supported by Amnesty International and other groups, demanded that Britain intervene to put an end to attacks on civilians in the Syrian town.

The British actress Carey Mulligan said in an appeal that the British Government must take a clear position and take action to end the bombing conducted by Syrian government forces and their Russian allies.

Thank you for notifying us of the demo last Sunday then we could participate yesterday. So many of us wanted a place to stand and be counted and you were the fascilitator. We travelled from Parbold in Lancashire and met many people greatful , like us to stand against this atrocity.
For after all if we have to voice our views against these deplorable actions, something is wrong here, no children should suffer .
