The requirement to test oneself upon entering Denmark will be removed as of Tuesday.

The previous requirement stated that people must be tested for the coronavirus within 24 hours of entering Denmark. That was the only remaining national corona restriction after the country lifted all other restrictions on February 1.

The test requirement has only applied to persons who have not been vaccinated against the coronavirus or haven’t previously been infected and who traveled to Denmark from a country outside the EU and Schengen.

The Danish Ministry of Health states that even if the requirement disappears, the infection situation at home and abroad will continue to be closely monitored.
