All the local employees who worked for Denmark in Afghanistan and who wanted to be evacuated have been evacuated, according to Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod.
“Overall, we have succeeded in evacuating all local employees who have accepted the evacuation offer and who have been employed within the last two years,” Kofod told Ritzau.
That includes about 384 people. On Friday, Kofod noted that the people and most of their families had arrived in Denmark.
