Denmark registered 4,013 new corona cases on Wednesday, which is the highest number of daily infection cases this year.
This is the third time this year that more than 4,000 infected people have been registered in one day. The overall daily infection record during the pandemic is 4,508 cases. It was set on December 18 last year.
In the last 24 hours, six corona-related deaths have been registered.
At the moment, 369 corona-infected people are hospitalized in Denmark – seven fewer than the day before.
In Denmark, 86.2% of all people over the age of twelve have been fully vaccinated, which corresponds to 4.53 million people. Just over 600,000 people have refused the vaccine.
