On Friday, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark opened a seminar on the green cities of the future at Oslo City Hall. The Norwegian Crown Prince and Crown Princess also participated.
On Friday, the Danish Crown Princess opened the conference “The green, sustainable and climate-safe cities of the future” in Oslo City Hall. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit also participated in the seminar.
“In Denmark and Norway, we have set ourselves the goal of leading the way. We have the will and the values needed for change. We have ingenuity, resources, competence, and the capacity to succeed. These are complex issues, and there is a need to think long-term and holistically,” Crown Princess Mary said in her opening speech.
Oslo Mayor Marianne Borgen (SV) is hosting the seminar, and Minister of Trade and Industry Jan Christian Vestre (AP) and Minister of Trade and Industry Simon Kollerup (S) are among the speakers.
Later on Friday, Crown Princess Mary will participate in an event at the Research Park in Oslo, where she will greet Danish companies. She will also attend the opening of the National Museum.
