Denmark’s Crown Princess Mary has tested positive for the coronavirus, the Danish royal family announced on Wednesday.

The infection has not been confirmed in anyone else in the royal family, the press release stated.

Crown Princess Mary’s positive corona test was taken on Wednesday. She is now in isolation at Amalienborg.

Crown Princess Mary is married to Denmark’s heir to the throne, Crown Prince Frederik, and together they have four children. In December last year, the couple’s eldest son, Prince Christian, also tested positive for the coronavirus.
