At the end of July 2018, a 58-year-old Polish man was found dead by a cliff in Lier. The case is now considered an unresolved murder.

This is stated in Kripos’ (National Crime Investigation Service) annual list of murder cases, which was presented on Monday this week.

The case has been filed with the date of the offense on June 1, 2018. Kripos confirmed to NTB that the man was found in Lier.

The dead man was found on July 26th, 2018, and he had probably been at the site for months. According to NRK, he was identified in late 2018. In March 2019, police published his name and picture. This is 58-year-old Adam Filipuk, according to the TV 2 program Åsted Norway.

According to Drammens Tidende, a former colleague of the deceased has been charged with perjury.

“We believe he has misrepresented factual information, which deals with things that happened before Adam Filipuk was found dead. I cannot say more about this,” said Inspector Per Thomas Omholt at the beginning of May last year.

On Wednesday, NTB tried to get a comment from the Southeast police district, without success.
