On Friday, two large bottles of disinfectant were stolen from the waiting room at a medical center at Giske in Møre og Romsdal, NRK reports.

At the start of the day, the staff at the medical center had hung two new 750-milliliter bottles of Antibac, but during the day both bottles disappeared, general manager Karina Folland told the channel.

“It’s serious. We receive the sick and the weakest in the municipality, so it is important that we have Antibac. I think it’s selfish,” she says.

Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, pharmacies and stores across the country have been sold out of disinfectant lately. According to the Norwegian Association of Pharmacies, Norwegian pharmacies sold five times as much disinfectant in February this year as at the same time last year.
