The Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI) had planned to distribute more flu vaccine this week, but they have been informed that the vaccines have been delayed.

The dispatch of vaccines is now scheduled for weeks 49 and 50, provided that the vaccine arrives in week 48, FHI announced on Monday.

The demand for VaxigripTetra has been much greater than the number of doses available.

All municipal units and health trusts will receive around a third of the ordered quantity for risk groups and other recommended target groups, respectively.

Other recipients will receive the same share of the ordered quantity for other recommended target groups and no vaccine for risk groups.
