According to the news agency DPA, pharmaceutical companies have exported 34 million vaccine doses out of the EU since February 1.

The agency referred to information from EU sources who did not want to be named.

The corona vaccines are said to have been exported to around 30 different countries. Nine million have reportedly gone to the UK, 4 million to Canada, 3 million to Mexico, and 1 million to the United States.

The European Commission has previously refused to disclose these figures. The EU has strict confidentiality agreements with several pharmaceutical companies.

Recently, the EU and the United Kingdom have accused each other of preventing the export of corona vaccines and vaccine components.
