Tropical heat is in place in the entire country. On Monday afternoon, the thermostat needle passed 30 degrees in Drammen.
“… and there Drammen just hit 30 degrees! Drammen is thus the first place with such a high temperature in Norway so far this year,” the Meteorological Institute tweeted.
The heat is all over southern Norway, and the summer heat will also go further north.
Meteorologists warn against forest fires since it has been dry for a long time in southern Norway.
– “No rain is expected in the next few days either. There will be some afternoon showers with lightning and thunder, which increases the risk of a forest fire,” they tweet.
