Drammen: One person dies after being infected with corona
A person living in Drammen Municipality has died after being infected with corona, NTB reports.
This is the first time in four and a half months that the Municipality has reported a death linked to the coronavirus.
Vestre Viken reported that an elderly person died at Drammen hospital after being infected with the coronavirus. The Municipality confirmed that the person was a resident of Drammen.
“I send my warmest thoughts to the relatives,” Mayor Monica Myrvold Berg stated in a press release.
She added that the corona-related death is a reminder of the seriousness of the pandemic.
