Driver charged after a fatal traffic accident involving a scooter and a car in Kvinnherad
An 18-year-old woman died in a collision between a scooter and a car in Kvinnherad on Monday. The driver has been charged with negligent driving.
Police attorney Tone Solfjeld Pedersen confirmed the information to the newspaper Bergens Tidende on Tuesday. Police believe the driver was driving too fast, being inattentive, or both.
The driver was questioned on Tuesday, the person’s defense counsel, lawyer Per Ivar Hessen, stated.
“It’s still early in the investigation process,” Hessen noted.
The accident happened just south of the Krabbane tunnel around 8 PM on Monday.
