In Eastern Norway, the roads are slippery, and there were snow and flooding on Sunday evening. Vegtrafikksentralen asks motorists to be careful and drive according to the road conditions.

A number of minor accidents have been reported on the road in Eastern Norway on Sunday evening.

Several mountain passes are closed, and people are driving in queues in some places.

“We recommend motorists to drive carefully and drive according to the conditions,” traffic operator Annie Serup at Vegtrafikksentralen East told news bureau NTB.

There is a lot of rain, snow, and slush on the roads.

Much of the salt laid out during the day was washed away by the rain in the evening, and the roads are very slippery.

At Bingenkrysset in Indre Østfold, a car drove into what is probably a flooded roadway.

Two adults have climbed onto the roof of the car, according to reports to the operations center.

“The last we have heard is that the water has reached the windshield… The two are cold, and it is probably dark and unpleasant,” operations manager Svein Walle in the Eastern Police District to NTB.
