Due to a rockslide, the E16 is closed at Stalheim in Western Norway.
Five or six large stones have fallen down and are blocking the road. The Stalheim tunnel and the Sivlet tunnel are closed, the road traffic center (Vegtrafikksentralen) told the newspaper Bergensavisen.
The rockslide is allegedly 30 meters wide and has fallen from the mountainside.
The contractor will now clear the road, and a new assessment will be made after noon, Vegtrafikksentralen stated.
