Eight people infected with corona after a funeral in Gjøvik
Eight people in Gjøvik Municipality have been diagnosed with the coronavirus after attending the same funeral.
The infected are two boys under the age of 20, a man in his 30s, a woman in her 20s, a man in his 40s, a man in his 60s, and a woman in her 50s, Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK) writes.
Due to the infection, the 8th grade and eight employees at Biri junior high school have been quarantined.
“We know the route of infection for the infection cluster, so we hope that quarantine and testing will be able to limit further infection,” municipal chief physician Siri Fuglem Berg said.
