Climate and Environment Minister Ola Elvestuen (V) attends a climate conference in the Vatican, this week and will chair a panel on climate change.

The conference is the three-year mark of Pope Fransis ‘Pope Letter Laudato Si’, which deals with the world’s climate and environmental challenges.

Around 300 participants are expected to attend at the Vatican conference, including politicians, religious leaders and research institutions.

There will be audiences with the pope during the conference. The Climate and Environment Minister will be present during the conference on Thursday and Friday.
