Equinor finalizes Russia exit
On Friday, the oil and energy company Equinor confirmed that it had completed the process of withdrawing from its Russian projects.
“On May 25, 2022, Equinor informed that the company exited four joint ventures with Rosneft and had agreed to leave the Kharyaga project.
“Equinor can now confirm that the process of withdrawal from the Kharyaga project has also been completed,” the company wrote in a press release.
“After this, Equinor has no remaining holdings or projects in Russia,” it accentuated.
