Foreign Minister, Ine Eriksen Søreide of Høyre (H) will visit Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Northern Macedonia from Monday to Wednesday.

‘’The situation in the Western Balkan countries is relatively stable, but vulnerable. There is a need for a coordinated European effort for reform, regional cooperation and closer Euro-Atlantic integration. This is important for the stability of the region, but also important for the rest of Europe’’ said Eriksen Søreide in a press release.

The purpose of the visit is to show political support for the reform processes in the countries and to have talks on regional issues, including the difficult situation between Serbia and Kosovo.

During the visit, Eriksen Søreide will, among other things, meet the presidents and prime ministers of Serbia, Kosovo, Northern Macedonia, and the three members of the Presidency of Serbia.
