Prime Minister Erna Solberg (H) has taken a corona test and will work from home for a few days. A state secretary is infected, and she was notified through the infection app.

The Prime Minister’s office confirmed to news bureau NTB that Solberg will work from home until the test results arrive.

State Secretary Audun Rødningsby (V) has tested positive for coronavirus, according to newspaper VG.

Solberg has been in a meeting with Rødningsby but still believes there is little risk that she is infected.

“The infection app gave me the notice that I must test myself. I have to be calm until I get the result. I think there is a microscopic chance that I am infected. We think that our phones have been in the same place,” Solberg told NTB.

State Secretary Rune Alstadsæter (H) told VG that the two telephones have been next to each other outside a meeting room because some meetings at the Prime Minister’s office take place with no telephones.

Solberg told NTB that she has no symptoms.
