Vaccination and booster doses are absolutely crucial in the fight against the spread of the omicron variant of the coronavirus, EU leaders warned on Thursday.
The heads of states and governments of the European Union’s 27 member states gathered on Thursday for a summit where the pandemic was at the top of the agenda.
EU leaders discussed travel restrictions, vaccinations, and other pandemic-related issues at the same time as the omicron variant of the coronavirus is spreading at record speed throughout the Union.
National leaders agreed that there is a need for coordination of measures to curb the infection better.
