An employee at the Camp Hudøy summer camp in Færder Municipality has been diagnosed with coronavirus. A cohort of 30 children must now be sent home.

“One of eleven cohorts has registered an infection case, so they have to go home. The rest of the cohorts will be tested when they return to Oslo,” general manager André Sirnes told newspaper VG.

The summer camp began on Wednesday, and the employee tested positive on Friday. The camp lasts until July 18.

Sirnes emphasizes that there are good infection control routines at the camp and that the cohorts each have access to their own bathroom and kitchen.
