Father accused of repeatedly assaulting his daughter
A 40 year old man is in Oslo District Court charged with a wide range of serious sexual offenses against his daughter and several of her friends.
The man risks being sentenced to the maximum penalty, 21 years in prison, if found guilty, according to NRK news.
He according to the indictment committed several sexual offenses with his daughter since she was ten years old, and exposed her to a long list of other abuses. On several occasions the man also abused his daughter’s female friends.
When police arrested the man, they found recordings of sexual assaults on the 40-year-old’s mobile phone.
Prosecutors consider it particularly aggravating that the abuse has been going on for several years, and that there is an abuse of a close relationship of trust.
