A man in his 30s and his six-year-old son got into trouble on a paddleboard at Nes camping on Jeløy in Moss. Two 17-year-old boys rescued them and brought them ashore.

The paddleboard attachment broke loose, and the father and son ended up in the water, the Eastern Police District informs.

They were notified of the incident at 3:39 PM on Monday. Two 17-year-old boys then swum out and got the two ashore.

Police, ambulance, and helicopter services moved out. The man and the boy were both awake and breathing after the accident.

They were taken into a cabin on the spot and treated by health personnel. They have since been taken to the emergency room for further observation.
