Father sentenced for driving under the influence with son in the car

A 41 year old man from Skien is sentenced to 36 days in jail for driving under the influence. Blood samples taken shortly after he had driven his son to school showed that the man had 2.36  per thousand in blood alcohol content .
In addition to being sentenced to prison , the man has to pay a 60,000 kroner fine and he will be banned from driving a car for three years, the newspaper Telemarksavisa writes.
The man confessed to the crime when he met in the  Lower Telemark District Court.
In its judgment the court emphasized that the man previously has been convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol.
