Figures from Avinor show that 8,863 people flew out of Norway last weekend. The number of passengers is lower than Avinor first expected.

Out of those who flew out of the country, 1,902 traveled to Poland, 1,187 to Germany, and 975 to the Netherlands. Spain had 509 passengers as its destination, according to Avinor.

Compared to a normal Easter, such as 2019, that is a decrease of 96%.

“In these figures, there are probably many guest workers who have traveled to their home countries for Easter.

“It is positive to see that not many Norwegians have left the country during the Easter holidays, and the number of passengers is lower than Avinor first expected,” director of traffic development at Avinor, Gaute Skallerud Riise, said.
