FHI: 268 new omicron cases have been confirmed in Norway in the last 24 hours

A total of 2,060 cases of the omicron variant have been detected in Norway so far. In the last 24 hours, 268 new omicron cases have been confirmed, according to the FHI.

The first case of the omicron variant in Norway was detected on December 1, 2021, from samples taken last week in November. A total of 2,060 confirmed cases have been confirmed since then.

New omicron cases have been confrimed in the following counties:

* Agder: 183

* Innlandet: 61

* Møre og Romsdal: 8

* Nordland: 6

* Oslo: 888

* Rogaland: 47

* Troms og Finnmark: 29

* Trøndelag: 46

* Unknown: 50

* Vestfold og Telemark: 150

* Vestland: 48

* Viken: 544
