FHI: 80% of all Norwegians have received the first dose of the corona vaccine

49.2% of the Norwegian population over the age of 18 have received the third dose, while 80 and 74% of the population have received the first and second dose, respectively, figures from the FHI show.

For the population over the age of 18, the proportions are 93.3 and 90.6% for doses one and two, respectively.

A total of 2,653,752 people have been vaccinated with the third dose of the corona vaccine in Norway, the FHI’s statistics show on Friday. Furthermore, 4,313,067 people received the first dose, and 3,987,743 received the second dose.

Currently, dose three is not given to adolescents under 18 years of age. Among people aged 16–17, 88.4% have received the first dose, and 74.9% have received the second dose. At the age of 12–15, the proportions are 79.8 and 5.2%, respectively.

Norway started its corona vaccination program on December 27, 2020.
