Poland will continue being green until the end of the week, writes FHI in a press release. A newly discovered calculation error at the EU’s Infection Control Agency is the reason for the sudden change in the assessment.

-”We have today received new information that the EU’s Infection Control Agency had an error in their data when it came to Poland.”, says Department Director, Line Vold.

According to our information for weeks 29 and 30, the amount of positive cases was more than 5 percent. New information from ECDC today shows that the proportion of positive tests was 1.4 percent for week 29 and 2.1 percent for week 30.

-”Poland will therefore probably be considered green.”, Vold concludes.
