The National Institute of Public Health (FHI) recommends easing infection control measures for employees in the health service who are protected against coronavirus.

The recommendation is based on the fact that more and more people are being vaccinated in the health service.

“It is now justifiable to have relief for employees in the health service who are protected against the coronavirus after vaccination or undergoing illness,” department director Line Vold at the FHI said at a press conference on Friday.

Vold emphasized that the FHI’s advice must be weighed against, among other things, the local risk of infection and the vaccination coverage at the relevant unit or ward.
