FHI update: As of Monday, 958 omicron cases have been confirmed in Norway

A total of 958 cases of the omicron variant have been confirmed in Norway, the National Institute of Public Health (FHI) stated on Monday.

That is an increase of 424 from Friday, according to the FHI’s overview, which was first mentioned by the newspaper Dagbladet.

Oslo has the most registered cases (472), and Viken is in second place (233). Vestfold og Telemark is in third place (99), followed by Rogaland (39) and Agder (37).

Vestland and Innlandet both have 17 confirmed omicron cases, and Troms og Finnmark have 14. In Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal, two cases have been detected, while Nordland and Hordaland have registered one case each.
