People in Northern Norway stock up on sunscreen and swimwear, reported the meteorologists,as summer heat is on its way.
Hot air from the south and high pressure above Kola will bring high temperatures in the three northernmost counties this week.
On Monday, there is a report of rain and thunder in Finnmark. Later, it will be sunny weather and the heat will also go north.The temperature could reach 25 to 30 degrees in inland areas.
In Tromsø, the thermometer will creep well above 20 degrees on Tuesday, with radiant sun according to Yr.no.
A little further south, in Bodø, the warmth will arrive first on Wednesday according to the forecast.
