Finland is now also suspending the use of AstraZeneca vaccine after two possible cases of blood clots in vaccinated people were discovered.

It will be put on hold to be on the safe side, broadcaster Yle reports.

The health authorities in Finland will hold a press conference on the vaccine on Friday.

It was revealed that the people who have had a blood clot are women in their 20s who became ill four to ten days after the vaccination.

It has not been confirmed that there is a connection between the blood clot cases and the vaccine.

So far, 701,203 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus in Finland, according to Yle.
