Finnish authorities announced that there would be relief for cultural life and sports on February 14. All corona restrictions will be removed by March 1.

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Sanna Marin said that the government has decided that now is the time to introduce relief.

The restrictions on the number of people who are allowed to participate in sports and cultural events will be increased as early as February 14. Restaurants, pubs, and bars will then be allowed to serve alcohol until midnight. According to current rules, alcohol can be served until 8 PM.

However, nightclubs must remain closed for a while longer, until March 1, when all restrictions will be lifted.
