In the first ten months of the year, the police have forcibly expelled 6,677 people from Norway – almost double compared to last year. The increase is due to expulsions under the Infection Control Act.

The corresponding figure at the same time last year was 3,518, which means there has been an increase of 90% in the total number of deportees this year compared to the corresponding time period last year.

A total of 4,990 or 75% of the 6,677 people have been expelled from Norway following a deportation decision in accordance with the Infection Control Act.
