Foreign Minister Huitfeldt tested positive for corona on the same day she visited King Harald – the king has cold symptoms
King Harald has cold symptoms and will be on sick leave in the next few days, the Royal Family announced on Friday.
The Royal House’s website states that Crown Prince Haakon will take over some of the king’s responsibilities in the meantime.
On Thursday, it was announced that Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt (AP) tested positive for COVID-19 just a few hours after visiting King Harald.
The Royal Family then stated that the Royal Couple and Crown Prince Haakon would be tested for corona in accordance with the infection control rules.
