A Sandnes man in his 40s denies having raped his daughters but admits to sexual acts against children in the kindergarten where he worked.

“I admit to sexual acts, but not sexual intercourse,” the accused man in his 40s said when the trial against him started in Sør-Rogaland District Court on Tuesday, according to the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad.

The man is accused of having raped his two daughters, who are both under 14 years of age, on multiple occasions in 2020.

He answered “no” when asked if he pleaded guilty to rape.

Possession and sharing of abusive material

He nevertheless pleaded guilty to possession and sharing of abusive material on the internet. According to the indictment, the man also took sexualized photos of his daughters and of children in the kindergarten in Sandnes where he worked, which he shared online.

The man has also been charged with carrying out sexual acts against four girls in the kindergarten where he worked last year. The man pleaded guilty to these charges.
