Four teenagers charged with attempted murder at Veitvet

Four teenagers are charged for attacking an 18-year-old with a knife at Veitvet in Oslo in October of last year. The case will be brought to court in November.

The four are charged with attempted murder and complicity in the attempted murder of an 18-year-old man at the metro station in Veitvet on October 6, 2019. He was cut in the back with a machete and stabbed with a knife, according to the indictment.

The accused are two brothers aged 15 and 17 and two other 17-year-olds.

The 18-year-old alerted the police himself from an apartment when he sought refuge. He was unconscious with life-threatening wounds when he was brought to the hospital, where he was operated on and survived. 

The trial starts at the Oslo Court District on the 24th of November. Seven days have allocated for the main hearing.
