Four men in their 20s are charged with kidnapping and the robbery of a man in Stavanger in September 2020.

The incident is said to have happened at Bryne, where a man was kidnapped, put in a car, and driven to Tasta, where he was threatened with violence and water torture, the newspaper Stavanger Aftenblad reports.

According to the indictment, the victim was threatened with violence, including having his fingers cut off, if he did not disclose his brother’s address in the city. Two of the accused prevent him from escaping.

When they arrived at the brother’s house, they allegedly stole two speakers, an amplifier, and a watch.

A man and a woman who were in the apartment at the time also have the status of victims in the case.

The indictment also states that the man was threatened with water torture if he contacted the police or did “something else stupid.”

The trial will take place at the end of August.
