A 24-year-old man from Fredrikstad has been charged with raping an underage girl and remanded in custody for four weeks.
According to newspaper Fredriksstad Blad, the sexual abuse took place over three days.
The man had previously been convicted of abusing six girls over a period of four years from 2014 to 2018.
The girls he has previously been convicted of raping were aged 13 to 16.
However, the sentence for those offenses has not yet been finally decided.
“The accused has committed a large number of sexual offenses. His pattern of action indicates that there is a great danger of relapse,” Fredrikstad District Court concluded.
