Frode Berg who has been charged for spying, will be receiving an extension on his detention by the district court in Moscow, tomorrow.
Bergs Norwegian lawyer Brynjulf Risnes reports to NTB.
Next Wednesday, December 5, it is exactly one year since the Norwegian Frode Berg was arrested in Moscow and charged with espionage. Now there is evidence that a trial is imminent, according to Risnes, who is hoping that the case comes up for trail in January.
“We see that many of Frode Berg’s restrictions have been lifted, and both he and the defense team have received signals that the investigation is about to end. We take that as a good sign,” Risnes said to VG last week.
