From midnight, everyone who comes to Norway is obliged to test themselves within 24 hours of arrival in the country. This applies to both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated, Minister of Health and Care Services Ingvild Kjerkol stated at a press conference on Thursday.

Travelers can test themselves at a test station at border crossings, at a public testing station, or with a self-test.

If the test result is positive, the traveler is required to carry out a PCR test as soon as possible and no later than within 24 hours.

The regulation enters into force on December 2.
