From Monday, Norwegian will remove facemask requirements on all its flights. SAS will do the same, with the exception of flights to the USA, China, and Italy.

“Due to further relief in most European countries, the company is removing requirements for the use of face masks on board all flights, regardless of destination.

“This is the first time the company has lifted the requirement for all flights since it was introduced on June 17, 2020,” Norwegian wrote in a press release.

At the same time, they ask all travelers to be aware that there are still facemask requirements at many airports around Europe.

SAS is also returning to pre-pandemic procedures, the company stated in a press release. From Monday, the facemask requirement will be removed on all flights with the exception of travel to the USA, China, and Italy.
