Cremation with a postponed ‘Ashes Ceremony’ is a good way to say goodbye to the deceased at this time without risking Corona infection, the Funeral services have recommend.

Last week, the Government banned assemblies of more than 50 people. Several municipalities have gone even further in their recommendations, and in some places burial ceremonies are not conducted at all, according to the Verd Funeral Services.

– One possibility for those who have to arrange a funeral now, is to conduct cremation without a ceremony, and then hold an Urn or Ashes ceremony at a later date, writes Verd on their pages.

Like all others, the Agency has introduced measures to reduce the risk of Coronavirus infection.

– At a funeral, hugs and hand greetings are common, but this should now be avoided. A fond look and a hand on the heart is another way to show your compassion.
