Around 20 people smashed windows and tried to break into a residential house in Stovner on Sunday night.

The attack was aimed at a residential house in Sigurd Weisæths vei, a residential road on Stovner, and the three people who were in the house at the time of the attack called the police at 1:30 AM.

“They say that several of the attackers had knives. By the time we arrived, they had run away. They did not enter the house, but several windows were broken. No one was physically injured,” operations manager Gjermund Stokkli told NTB on Sunday morning.

Police say the incident appears to be gang-related, but no one has been arrested in the case.

“One or more of the attackers probably had unresolved issues with someone who stayed in the house. We believe the case is related to an incident of violence on Høybråten at 11:40 PM. No one was injured in this incident, and everyone ran off before we arrived at the scene,” Stokkli noted.
