The police want to get in touch with people who have seen a champagne-colored Toyota parked in a hiking area in Finnmark. One man has been reported missing.

The man, a German citizen who lives in Alta, is missing after he went on a trip probably on July 8, the police wrote in a press release on Friday. The specific area is unknown.

The man’s family and circle of acquaintances have reported him missing as he has not returned from the trip, and he stated before he left that he was going on a trip for about 14 days.

“We now want to get in touch with people who have seen his car or met him in the wild,” investigation leader Anette H. Sætrang in Finnmark Police District noted.

The man is driving a champagne-colored Toyota RAV4 2001 model, and the police want information about the car or similar cars that may have been parked for a long time in the same place since July 8.
