Germany has resumed the use of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine for senior citizens. But the country’s interior minister Horst Seehofer does not want to take the vaccine.

Thus, he defies the call from Minister of Health Jens Spahn, who earlier this week asked all government members over the age of 60 to take the vaccine, the newspaper Bild writes.

“The answer to Jens Spahn’s request is: No,” Seehofer told the newspaper.

Germany is among the countries that have resumed the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine. The vaccine is not given to people under 60 years of age.
