A global study led by the Danish professor Jens Lundgren shows that treatment with antibodies has no effect on corona patients.

During the pandemic, seven Danish hospitals attempted treatment of corona patients with the antibody LY-CoV555, but the treatments did not lead to shorter hospital stays or a greater chance of survival.

The information was revealed in the results of the study Activ, spearheaded by Danish professor Jens Lundgren.

“Not all experiments work the first time. Therefore, the task is to find out what we can learn from this so that we can go a step further in the next attempt and make another type of antibody treatment work,” he said.
